Get Connected & Serve!

The LOT Project offers a variety of ways to volunteer, and we have a place for everyone! Fill out the contact form below or send an email to info@thelotproject.com to receive more information about our next volunteer orientation, so you can learn how YOU can plug in and make a difference.
Volunteer Orientation takes place on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:15pm-6:15pm.
(If you’re not available on Wednesday evenings, contact us for alternatives).

ARTISAN Gardens

We need volunteers to support the garden program year-round. We welcome individuals and groups looking for a one-time activity, but we prefer volunteers who are willing to commit to a monthly or weekly schedule! Also keep in mind, this is not just about gardening. We are also building relationships with our neighbors through weekly block parties and other avenues of community outreach.
Visit our Artisan Gardens page for more information.

louie’s DONATION CENTER

Donation Center volunteers help us process our incoming donated items (clothing, shoes, coats, blankets, etc). This occurs on Mondays from 4-6pm and Wednesdays from 11am - 1pm. We welcome individuals and small groups. This activity is open to volunteers of all skill levels, and youth are welcome (with adult supervision).

louie’s basic needs ministry

Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 3:30pm - 6pm, we open our doors to feed a community meal to a group of homeless, transient, and housing-insecure guests. Volunteers help us plate meals, serve meals, distribute beverages, distribute clothing and other items, and clean up the space at the end of the night. We also need groups to volunteer to provide (cook or sponsor) the meals! Individuals and groups are welcome.
