Louie’s is our basic needs ministry where we provide relational case management and dignified basic needs assistance while developing community advocates.

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, we gather with volunteers and donors to serve a community meal and meet other basic needs for our homeless, transient, and housing-insecure neighbors. We also provide shoes, coats, blankets, and more to those in need, on the First Friday of every month.

This building, 302 West Market Street, is also our donation drop-off site for clothing, shoes, and other items. We accept donations every Monday from 4-6pm and every Wednesday from 11am-1pm.

Artisan Gardens is our urban garden program where we strive to empower the community, equip our neighbors, and nourish the bodies of our neighbors in the Alphabet Streets.

We operate three community gardens in the Alphabet Streets neighborhood of Anderson. We provide free produce from these gardens and also use them for weekly community outreach events with the children and families in the neighborhood.

Village Homes is our transitional housing program where we provide affordable and adequate housing, relational case management, and a renewed understanding of home for those exiting a season of homelessness.

This program currently consists of two housing units (with hopes to add more in the future). Both homes were donated by Leadership Anderson classes 35 and 39. Potential residents can apply to live in this home for 6 to 12 months to ease the transition to life on their own. This program is an affordable and Christ-focused way to get back on one’s feet.

West Market Makers is our arts-focused program where provide a safe environment and platform for expression for those experiencing homelessness, striving to reveal the inherent humanity in the people we serve.

At West Market Makers, we want to provide an inclusive creative space for makers of all levels and backgrounds to share and grow as a community and give ourselves to the good work of creative stewardship. We believe everyone has the capacity to create, and creating holds the potential to heal and cultivate our humanity in beautiful ways. We want to nurture an atmosphere of generosity and friendship, where diversity and oneness can find space together.
