How We Grow

At the Artisan Gardens, we grow organic produce free to the residents of the Alphabet Streets neighborhood free of charge. Through these garden plots, we aim to provide a safe and beautiful space for the community where healthy and whole food is accessible to them.

community outreach

Every Monday evening, we gather on E Street to host a weekly block party called “Meet You at the Garden” with the children and families, seeking to build community throughout the neighborhood.

On Wednesday evenings, in partnership with the Student Station program at Capstone Church, we provide free tutoring to the children we serve through Meet You at the Garden. This partnership ensures that they have access to academic support, helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom!

Volunteer Hours (Times Vary Based on Season)

• Mondays 5:00-6:30 pm (Meet You at the Garden)

• Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm (Tutoring at Capstone Church)

• Thursdays: 5:30-6:30 pm (Yard Work)

• Occasional Saturday mornings for events and group projects
