Ministry Report Q2 2026

The second quarter of 2026 has been marked by gatherings, construction, and a sweet reminder of God’s kindness to us as we welcomed the spring season. Entering 2026, our staff set its sights on building our fourth Village Home, expanding our case management efforts, and launching the fundraising campaign for our fifth Village Home.

Since April 1, we’ve had the privilege to:

  • Serve an average of 102 guests each week (ages 1–78) through Louie’s, our basic needs ministry

  • Make significant progress on our fourth Village Home, which will provide four additional transitional housing beds for neighbors exiting homelessness

  • Distribute more than 1,200 pounds of food, free of charge, to neighbors in need

  • Mentor 30 children from 13 families each week through Artisan Gardens

  • Provide safe, affordable transitional housing for seven individuals through our Village Homes program

  • Provide case management for over 30 individuals experiencing homelessness

Our fourth Village Home, Joseph’s House, is almost done! This home will provide four more individuals exiting homelessness with a place to call home and receive the tools they need to get back on their feet.

At the end of March, we had the opportunity to lock arms with Calvary Home for Children and Anderson Pregnancy Care to host Gathered for Good, an event highlighting the connection between foster care, unplanned pregnancy, and homelessness. Throughout the evening, we focused on how these challenges often stem from a profound and catastrophic loss of family, while also pointing to the hope of the Gospel. Jesus is the great reconciler who is forging a family for all who call upon Him. We cannot thank our event sponsors, ministry partners, and event attendees for making this night so special.

If all goes well, our next ministry report will celebrate the ribbon cutting of our fourth transitional home, provide updates on our fifth home, and share even more stories of hope made possible through your generosity. As we continue forward, we are deeply grateful for your prayers and support.

Here are a few specific ways you can pray for The LOT Project:

  • That God would reveal Himself to those we serve

  • That we would exceed our revenue goals this year, allowing us to devote even more energy and resources towards expanding our ministry

  • That our three current Village Homes would continue to be places of rest, healing, and joy for our seven residents

  • That God would refresh and encourage our staff, board members, and volunteers
